Closing ritual

The Kres will burn until 4 July, when we will gather and light up the works of the artists and present their artistic practices through conversation. The talk will be followed by a get-together and the ritual of putting out the Kres (bonfire).

The outlines of experimental artistic approaches, characterised by the development of specific aesthetics, the creation of ambient speculative environments, the exploration of the boundaries between physical and virtual spaces, the construction of new characters, the questioning of the relationship to corporeality, and the fascination with the technical possibilities of different media, are beginning to emerge from the shadows around Kres. Between visions of the future and the mystical otherworld, a new community of artists is beginning to form and connect, while igniting new sparks of Slovenian digital art.
